Section 12: Educational agency
Educational agency.
- Where an educational agency of a private school, established and maintained on or before the date of commencement of this Act, is an individual or body of persons or any other entity, such individual or body of persons or such entity shall, within a period of six months from the date of commencement of this Act, form a Society registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975 (Tamil Nadu Act27 of 1975
) or a Company registered under section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 (Central Act 18 of 2013) or a Trust under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882, (Central Act 2 of 1882) to look after the affairs of the educational agency and thereafter such Society or Company or Trust alone shall be treated as educational agency for the purposes of this Act.Previous
