The Allahabad High Court quashed the rejection of Ram Pratap Singh’s premature release plea after finding that authorities incorrectly recorded his custody period. The Bench held that the Governor’s Article 161 power cannot be exercised arbitrarily or on an apparent factual error, and directed the Government to reconsider the matter afresh within one month. Kerala HC Orders Clearance Of Waste From Kochi Roads, Directs Inspection Of Brahmapuram Facility
