Tuhin Kumar Gedela Appointed as Additional Judge of Andhra Pradesh High Court

Andhra Pradesh | August 1, 2025 — The Ministry of Law and Justice has officially notified the appointment of Shri Tuhin Kumar Gedela as an Additional Judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court. This appointment is made under Article 224(1) of the Constitution of India, which empowers the President to appoint additional judges to High Courts.

The order, issued by the Department of Justice, Government of India, states that the appointment will be effective from the date he assumes charge of his office and will be valid for a period of two years.

“In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Tuhin Kumar Gedela, to be an Additional Judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court for a period of two years with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.”
