The decision was made in a full court meeting held on April 1. The Senior Advocate designation is a prestigious recognition highlighting legal expertise and professional distinction.

One of the designated advocates, Shri Rajbir Sehrawat, was previously involved in a legal controversy. As a High Court judge, he made remarks that opposed a Supreme Court order, leading to judicial scrutiny.
